We all have heard and even used the phrase "Man Up". It is an idiom meaning to "be a man about it" or "to do the things a good man is traditionally expected to do." A good question may be: what is a good man traditionally expected to do? So maybe you think you are good man but by whose traditions? From generation to generation....from the baby boomers to generation Z our society's traditions have shifted. So are you really a "good man"?
This weekend is about re-defining what a real man is. I think you will be surprised by what you hear. Real men are NOT defined by simply being husbands, fathers, athletic, religious, relatable, stable, strong, or even noble. The traditons we must get back to are the Words of God, and the lives we are to live must revere our King, Jesus Christ. Now is the hour...and now is our time...time to make a difference, time to change the world. Let's all "Man Up"...and "Honor the King!"

About The Speaker
Andy Fleming has been living out his childhood dream of Christian missionary service for more than three decades beginning with the jungles of Papua New Guinea in 1980. During the 13 years between 1986 and 1999, Andy and his wife Tammy, lived in Sweden, England and Russia, and through the grace of God were able to oversee the planting of 29 congregations in 20 countries (all the Nordics and former Soviet Republics) with a combined total membership of more than 8,000.
At the current time, Andy and Tammy are serving in the ministry for the Birmingham Church of Christ, as well as providing ongoing support to mission efforts in the former Soviet Union. Their 12-year old son Justin attends secondary school in Birmingham, while their daughter, Britain, graduated from University College London last year and is currently a full-time ministry intern in Kiev, Ukraine. Andy has published a number of books (including one in Russian), and is currently completing a Doctorate in Practical Theology at the University of Birmingham."
